Activities » TCA Screening Sessions

Once a month on the UCLA campus, the Tech Coast Angels (TCA) offers four groups of entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their ideas. Each venture’s screening session consists of a fifteen minute power point presentation followed by a fifteen minute Q&A session. After all groups have presented, the angels adjourn to a members only lunch, where the ventures are discussed and investor interest is gauged. TCA members are founders, CEO’s, venture capitalists, business leaders and UCLA faculty who have funded and built world-class companies. These members mentor and coach, serve on their boards, provide contacts, and assist with team building, strategic planning and fund-raising.

Who is TEC?
EGSATEC (or TEC) strives to create a strong culture of entrepreneurship within the technical community at UCLA by bridging the gap between interested students, faculty, alumni, and administrators. TEC serves as a link between the university and external funding sources to make the dreams of the UCLA technical entrepreneur a reality.
